Absence Costing: tools to manage different absence rates on due to position changes Merged

Leave Cost Rule options to determine the Rate on Absence Costing are based on the employee's current Function Lines. When an employee has historical absences to cost from a previous assignment in a different position, the rate on the costing will be from the function line(s) in payroll when the costing is run, and not based on the employee's function lines at that time the absence was taken, nor the position on the absence. There is also no way to manually override the rate in the absence module.

In the case of leaves without pay, manual intervention is required to identify and correct records where the time is being deducted at a different rate than it was first paid. Tools to either better control the absence rate or more easily identify these instances when they appear on the costing would reduce both time needed to process attendance and payroll errors.
