TEAC - Actual Calendar Days for particular month should reflect in Payregister/Earnings Statement

Hi Team,

As of now, the monthly days/hours reflect as 20 in TEAC payroll for all teachers with 1 FTE for all months. But in reality, the actual "working days" in each month differ, which we have specified in the payroll calendar.

We would like this actual "working days" to reflect both in the payregister/earnings statement.

Since this is not the case now, it is very difficult to explain and it is confusing for teachers, especially when there is loss of pay days involved or for new hire teachers, who started midmonth and there is prorata involved, as the actual days worked differ from what is displayed in payregister and earnings statement. (This is in violation of Alberta Employment Standards as well.)

    Thanks for your idea for a new feature. After reviewing this, I think we can best help you out through our community, as your suggestion is achievable in existing functionality (pay type of ‘contract’, however no Alberta school boards use this and there could be further impacts to ATRF reporting). On the PowerSchool Community, you can post to ask other divisions in Alberta for feedback, or submit a support case for our team to help you.
