Employee Legal Name vs Employee Preferred Name - addressing the product areas that require Preferred Name to display

Business Case:  Display the employee preferred name vs the employee name in different areas of the products.

Areas identified (and requested) are:
# HRW and Dashboard Reports.

    Hi Ravneet, we don't have a timeline on implementation yet. We had planned to start on this work by now, but we had some large projects related to compliance requirements coming from three provinces that our team needed to address. My hope is that once that work is done, we can have a developer begin the preferred name work in the summer. That said, priorities can shift quickly if the current projects take longer than expected or other compliance or security requirements arise.

    As others have stated, this feature is very important. There is an impact to staff who are seeing and being referred with their dead name in atrieve, and when they arrive at a school. If you can please add workboard to the areas identified where preferred name can be reflected. Also, do you have timing on when this will be implemented so we can communicate this information.

    As others have stated, this feature is of increasing importance and is directly tied to health and well-being. I would like to hear where it is on the product roadmap and what the workaround is to accommodate in the time being.

    We take pride in hiring for diversity - some candidates have a legal name that is not how they would like to be identified and/or adds to confusion or uncomfortable conversations for schools, in particular with casual staff. Having preferred name would alleviate uncomfortable conversations and would make work environments more inclusive.

    For employees that identify as someone other than what is indicated or assumed by their legal name, this option is crucial to avoid potential confusion or embarrassment.
